There were monthly layoffs for 20 years from 2000 to 2008 for a total of 10% annually.

There have NEVER been monthly layoffs since. There have been some small layoffs recently, but very small and rare… nothing even remotely close to monthly. When you cry the “sky is falling” when we haven’t been in a high layoff situation for 24 years you kind of become Chicken Little. Far better for people to stay factual with your statements.
