For any of those let go and given the opportunity to use LHH, have you? Is it a valuable tool and good use of your job hunting time? Thanks.

I didn't find their job placement stuff very useful. I am in I.T. with very specialized skills, so I am accustomed to handling my own job searches. I fully agree with others about how useful Linkedin can be in job hunting.
I did use LHH's resume service and I was very pleased in how they reworked mine.
I am in my 3rd year at a good company, post-Fiserv. LHH's resume was pretty vital to my job search.
@2zzd+1jqz4s3S - Yikes, you write like you work for LHH.
I personally am getting as much out of LHH as I can. Great program. Great resources. Great WebCasts. Great way to learn how to use LinkedIn to Network, find new job, and be able to do the LinkedIn Training Free! Let them rework your resume too! This company has been around for a long time and know what they are doing,
They have some valuable tools. They will help bring your resume into line with automated search, and they have a good course on creating a linked-in profile. They also will assign you a career consultant. They have six different programs, ranging from “I want a job just like the one I lost” to “I want to start a business.” They are helping me with personal branding and marketing for my next adventure.
They don’t find you a job but they do help with resume and LikedIn profile tips. You do all the work they give you some advice and information. Since it’s part of the severance package you might as well use it if you need that kind of help.
all good comments just to be clear tho they are not headhunters or a staffing firm directly
Honestly I found LHH useless and would rather have Fiserv payout additional severance vs whatever LHH is charging.
I got laid off in June & used them in July. I was matched with a great rep, who gave excellent pointers. They also reworked my resume - I had a job offer in August, started working in September.
LHH offers great tools & advice regarding your LinkedIn page. Best of luck on your job search - there IS life after Fiserv!!
I was matched with a great woman at LHH who took great care of me. I was laid off in June and didn’t use the services for a month out of spite but then decided to take all resources provided and I’m glad I did. She helped me change my attitude about job searching “your career dating, it’s not career marriage yet.” She helped me decide if I wanted to negotiate the offer that came in (we decided not to, but she was willing to help me through that too.) I also got my resume professionally reviewed and overhauled. I would absolutely recommend you checking them out.
I'm primarily using linkedin for job search but I just got my resume back from them rewriting it and they had some good comments. I met with a career counseling this week and they must gauge it based on where your at cause they skipped me to interviewing and gave me sample questions. But they say you can use as much or as little for next 3 months and since I don't have a job anymore I'm taking them up on it and soaking up all that knowledge.
Some of it obvious and for beginning a career but I'm finding it encouraging and you can practice your interview answers with them. But it definitely not for everyone...I think you have to be in right mindset for it and not just go in with I know all this.
