Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

September 1 big news?

Based on all the comments I’ve been seeing on here, I expected some big news on September 1 - but have been met with crickets so far. Anything go down? Anyone able to report ?

September Big News:
Xerox, a once great company has managed to reach a state of complete self destruction with all time lows and has officially become the worst company in the industry to work at or be a customer of.
But even now there is hope as we still have: Iridesse , Docushare, and Tech Powerhouse.

What about XBS VPs and managers? Everyone seems quiet.... Too quiet but most of the news on this site is wrong and never happens.
@3axi+16Jnf15m - think this person is correct - if you are new business sales you are out. The people that will remain are those with large customer bases and internal relationships with higher level executives.

Was CSE

Now it's TSR

I'm sure it will be some new flavor in a couple of months.

If you really do not know what a CSE is you ain't Xerox. Ever spent 2 months straight at Sleesburg?

Mostly sales people with territories that are not producing and are in a sit and wait mode. It was left up to each core since they're structured all differently. If you are specialist heavy.. be ready. If you were production heavy.. consolidate. Sales people that rely heavily on cold calling or net new business.. bye bye. Sales teams that can consolidate.. this should have been done over the last year and half already. Personally, my core it won't affect business or revenue and will actually increase moral. Sales people know where the slugs are buried and are just enjoying a vacation.

Sept 1st is figure of speech. It is September though. I'm speaking as a manager that is laying some off as position elimination. It'll be a Friday and it will be last minute. Most likely the 14th because it's end of payroll.

Oh just you wait. September 2nd? Bloodbath. Absolute mo–nS at the top going to just CUT all the JOBS???!!!

Nevermind, the 3rd!! Rats off a sinking ship!! I heard from several actual VPs!!

Okay, bad jokes aside. Several of you need to get regrounded in reality because yes, people are being laid off, but every time a few folks burst in here and say “ITS THE APOCALYPSE!” It muddies the waters for all of us.

You don’t have to like management, but have come camaraderie with your fellow worker by taking an extra moment to really think about what rumor you’re posting, and how confident you can be in it. There are truly people out there being affected, and quality information can help them. Bad information hurts all of us.

God knows if I believed this forum, the company would already have a negative number of employees.
