I've spoken to a number of managers who all told me the scores were abysmal across the board. I know that it's possible to massage the results but how long more are they going to espouse Tell Dell within the company? I know it's not a terrible place to work but it's no longer a good place to work

@3coj+1nHu1qpW How do you know everyone panicked in finding fault? Maybe they found fault easy to come by? Weird to insinuate that everyone panicked. How can you speak for everyone?
My Director got negative results for the first time in years. It’s evident the sense of job insecurity has everyone panicking and finding fault.
My Director is generally one of the best in our organization. No one is perfect. She could do a better job of protecting her team and org. But, scores took a hit across the board due to factors beyond their control.
They don’t care about the results. My manager consistently gets poor reviews, high team turnover, basically universal negative feedback. They promoted her anyway. If you have someone higher up on the food chain that likes you, your scores don’t matter at all. Skill and leadership abilities used to matter at Dell but now all you need to do is brown nose the right people.
Heck my manager got a Negative Score on their Tell Dell. In my 15 years at Dell I have never heard of someone getting a negative score. And of course she just got a promotion.
My Second line got a low score (not negative though) essentially said that if anyone does not like her style of managing they should find another team to work on or leave.
How is that for inspiring people?
This will always be the case. Dell will never actually provide the real results. Very similar to how they manipulated the best places to work survey. This was paid for and spread all over the media like propaganda.
