What do you know about it?

@4hev+1ucA4iDp Finance leadership has been saying for the last year that we should expect that finance employees can expect to move into roles that are not finance related in the future. Every time someone says they are worried about the reduction in headcount that’s expected, this is their canned response.
@3jbg+1ucA4iDp Thanks for posting an alternate perspective. I guess it would make some sense to ditch higher paid engineering folks that aren’t doing any technical roles with lower paid bus sec folks. very skeptical of this suggestion but isn’t crazy.
So there is a much bigger picture here that has impacts for other organizations.
Yes, Finance will be reducing HC10 footprint by significant amounts. However that does not mean they'll be let go. DW and KM believe that many of those will flow into positions in the business. Just look at some of the more recent moves of Finance folks going into the business.
Right now if your an engineer and the work you are doing is far from engineering then you're really at risk. This Finance announcement comes with a much bigger picture tied to it.
It does mean if you want to work in finance for your career then you may need to seek employment elsewhere.
Do they have any PowerPoint engineers in BTC?
EM Executives figured out that BTC folks can fill in a spreadsheet.
Bo-m, spreadsheet fillers in HC10 are in jeopardy.
Glad I’m not in Finance, word is they are getting major re org, with big reductions at the campus
Future of Finance communication coming out in the next week or two. Basically deals with reducing the footprint quite aggressively (about half) in HC10 countries.
Alternatively, KM leaves in a year and we over correct the mess she's created and over hire
Seriously…. When will the sizable staff reductions start? 2025 or 2026? Can’t believe they will wait till 2027…
Someone has some insight……
There will be 1 finance. If you’re in tax, I’d learn Spanish because BA takeover is about to be complete.
Like every other reorg… HC10 (except execs of course) to GBC, GBC to MSP… the cosmic ballet goes on…
What are you even talking about? Aside from the fact they're reducing HC10 by about 50% in 5 years there is nothing new that I'm aware of.
Headcount targets?
