Interesting - no Corporate entity can control what one posts from their own equipment, their internet provider, etc.. The Corporation can control what is being posted via their equipment, internet pipes, etc.. The Corporation owns the equipment and has a right to control anything and everything that occurs on their equipment. That's why I choose to not use Corp devices (phone, PC, etc.) for personal communications. Regardless of the medium used they can and do terminate if a negative comment is posted and the poster's identity is known. I used to work @ Metavante so I do know who Fiserv is and also know of the work culture. Just my opinion; I wouldn't want to work there...

@3joi+17SCadQw I've read the profile of P.C. and his credentials seem pretty good. I don't understand why his program is so lackluster though, and has so many serious security gaps. They are adopting a modified Cyber Security framework that is not DOD/Gov compliant. It seems to be a modified Navy pillar methodology that is focused on encryption of data at rest (powered down), insider threat monitoring and patch/vuln management of anything that is a high vuln or more. His methodology doesn’t seem to include the Availability part of security, which is showing its head in client facing servers on in the data centers. The local machines are getting spied on just like FB and PC did to executive at JP Morgan. PC was forced to resign in 2013, and FB resigned around the same time they moved to First Data.

They are bumping up security, but like anything it is used to drive fear and intimidation. Instead of being a great leader that employees want to follow. If you are worried about being tracked. Here are a couple of pointers. The phone that is owned by Fiserv with Spyware on it. Forward all the calls to a burner cell and just throw that phone in a faraday bag until you are home. Second, setup a VPS for $20 that you can VPN into using a router like Ubiquiti edge router or PFSense firewall using an RPI, and route your traffic through that to connect to Fiserv.

Here is the P.C. guy that spied on senior executives, watch out Fiserv executives. Mind your P’s and Q’s, because you could be next.

The National Labor Relations Act protects our right to access this site from company computers on the same basis as other non-work related websites.

Do not confuse the lackluster security team that protects our systems or property with the the team that watches and monitors staff. The team watching you is led by P.C. a former Secret Service agent that F.B. brought along with him from JPMorgan. They are the ones loading spyware on your computer/phone and they use tech to track everything you do and everywhere you go. Yes I did say everywhere because they tracking location of where you are logging in or where your phone is being used.

Be careful if you were laid off and got severance. Any posting here could count as publicly stating derogatory comments and they could sue and take it back.

But I didn’t get any so FU Frank.

The talented OFD security regime that has caused an increase in outages at Fiserv for the past 10 months.

The security management teams are running around creating chaos everywhere, while implementing new security measures, devices that restrict applications, and people from being able to do their jobs.

Ultimately, making the customers suffer because their "Hard Security" measures k–l productivity. I would have to question the talent and tact of this group. The latest and greatest gadget doesn't make a security team great.

This forum is stuck in the past.

Caution to all ! The ‘soft security measures’ no longer exist. Do not doubt the capabilities of the OFD security regime that took over. They are a very very very talented team with expertise in physical / network security ... they also work harder and smarter than any other group out there.

I'm surprised HR even cares about this site.

This site has been a topic in HR and with leaders for some time now. It very much is upsetting them because they can’t control it. They do have interns post here at times when things get too out of hand so they can control the narrative

Fiserv security will never be able to catch me posting on this site. I am a developer and I have created a tunnel to the internet that none of their security measures can track. In fact, their security measures are pretty easy to defeat.

As a result, I post here with impunity. The fact is, there are more layoffs coming, more benefit cuts coming, and more closures coming.

They can search for me all they want - long gone from the Fiserv gulag. And security in many ways has been virtually wiped off the planet. It should be obvious though to watch your site surfing on any corporate machine. Your own laptop in Starbucks is safer to an extent.

I post on my home device via a VPN. It's still possible to use browser fingerprinting (look it up) to figure out which posts I've made but I'm anonymous enough.

Definitely DO NOT use a FISV device.

That is funny, Fiserv's corporate security is a little dysfunctional, and would guess that would be the case for the next 6-12 months. All outbound traffic to the internet is going through a Proxy server now, which they log who goes to what sites. This is more than likely how they figured it out.

If they are dedicating resources from IT security to corollate IP and getting logs from thelayoff.com. I would question their priorities with security in general and I wouldn't be surprised if they get owned by some nation state in the next year if this is how they focus their security teams. Given their perimeter security is pretty weak.

Go ahead and continue posting blasphemous comments on this forum with no merit. Corporate security WILL find you.

Here we come = )

They can't see the IP's if you use your personal devices from home on your personal internet/data account unless they have access to thelayoff.com web server logs.

IF they are going through looking for posts from work computers then do not post from home computers either. Your external IP from your house is going to match that from your Fiserv PC and they'll be able to find out who you are. (Assuming OP is correct)

Use a prxy
