Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Burnout and high turnover

Is Dell doing anything to prevent employees from getting completely burnt out and in turn preventing some of the top talent from walking away? Too many people are choosing to look for greener pastures and with good reason. It'd be nice to see that leadership is taking this seriously and trying to do something to stop the bleed.

Worked DG/EMC/Dell 47 years before I left. Dell is a horrible company, all they look for is personal computers. Grow a pair and be HIGH TECH. Glad I'm making $$ with M&A. Cant wait for the Oh I just bought Dell... give me a call!

@3jpk+1hjoXBsT If you feel that Dell is a second family you need to take a look at your life.
If that's what you are happy with you have set the bar very low or are a troll.
Dell is in no way solid.

I third that and Dell is more than a company its my family.

I second that. I am far from inspired by Dell but at least it is a solid company which has working business model.

Dell is a good company to work for. There will always be problems but if you look at other large companies out there, Dell is solid.

Most people on this board will disagree but that's my opinion.

Gets harder to get up and put on a fake smile every morning and gets worse every quarter.
Mental burnout is a big issue at dell but management wont change.Just talk.

drink the cool-aid and respect your manager. No lie they are on your side. (wink wink)

Dell cannot function without middle line managers.
