Anyone restacking merchandise on red pallets and even painting pallets red?

is this a new company direction or is it just restricted to a specific manager's region or market? haven't heard this at our club.
the new rvp is making our jobs so much more difficult. His ideas are a huge waste of labor. I guess he thinks we have an abundance of time.
Anything that comes in on blue pallets in seasonal or hba has to be restacked on red.
All produce that comes in has to be restacked on the painted blue pallets.
Our produce guys were always instructed to leave full pallets of product on their original pallets & put in out in its location.
Sounds like he blatantly disregards company instruction & forgets about efficiency & timeliness.
Hurt back ..lawsuits ???

@3mav+1fsfgF4W, Kath & everyone else at corporate headquarters aren't concerned with how associates are treated. They're only focus is getting their huge bonus. She won't be in charge for much longer. She's already made enough money she doesn't have to ever work again. She'll move to another cush job to open the CEO position for someone else to collect big money for doing nothing.

It’s only because of our new regional guy that used to be over the Florida/PR clubs. He’s super an-l about wanting certain areas to have all red pallets.

They are making us do the red pallets. I was actually told to start hiring because management thinks that the associate push back will be so great that we won’t be able to keep any staff. Great 👍 I have worked to develop a great team but they are human beings with real bodies that might not be able to hand stack treadmills, birdseed, storage shelves, frying oil, automotive oil, water, coke, detergent… this rant could take a while. Head count is a priority but the capacity the team will have to actually stock the club will be reduced by about 80% WHY? Well, it takes time to restock everything on a new pallet. Our bodies will also slow down from physical exertion everyday much faster than normal. They want 5 people to stock 150 pallets in 4 hours but they are going to get 5 people who stock 30 pallets. I wish someone would tell Kath how the associates are being treated. I wish they would be held accountable for disrespect for the individual. I also wish they were made to work like the associates, with the associates, and I mean actually working. It doesn’t count if they get to sit in the office or walk around the store asking people to pick stuff up for them. They know nothing of what they ask and, if they do, have zero respect for human life.
So a regional manager can make their own rules, waste labor, payroll , & tell clubs to to do what they say instead of company directive? Sounds like an integrity issue.
Don’t think it’s company wide. Heard it’s our region bc of the new RVP.
Heard this was being done in Mississippi Valley region because if new RVP, ridiculous and waste of payroll, especially if your in area that doesn't get a lot of red, we probably get 1 red to every 30 blue
I heard he came from a company that he ran into the ground. Must have been the lowest bidder 🤣. Going to run the company into the red. Might as well start with the pallets 🤣

I had to paint the freezer bollards red. There were 4 of them it took me 4 shifts to complete the task.
Now I just stand at the door and try not to fall asleep.
Yes, new regional Manager, this IS NOT company wide. This regional manager has turned merchandising into a nightmare. He probably comes from a region with high turnover and it's not hard to see why.
Crazy and it’s company wide, it’s a new expectation to hand stack all dog food, charcoal etc….we won’t pretty instead warehouse.
