Time Work Bench messed up-Didn’t get Double Overtime and holiday pay

For this pay period, many employees didn’t get their floating holiday pay and their double time pay.
Did this happen at your site also?
I wonder what caused this? Sounds like it happened at multiple locations.

@3qdm it wasn’t until I read your comment that I realized this chain was from two years ago. Wild that the old comments are still accurate

August 2025 and they still have serious payroll issues.

For some (or maybe all) SBG’s, the official HR payroll team that processes hours & issues checks is actually based in Mexico - has been for some years now. On my experience, this has caused issues non-stop and seems to still. They interpret the US payroll laws as best they can as per the fed site, but that’s it. Based on other info I have seen sounds like even more is being outsourced to Mexico, if it hasn’t happened already. There used to be local payroll teams (to be an intermediary between employees & Mexico payroll) for each SBG but many of those have been or are being eliminated. Sorry but as a US citizen that works for a US company you should at least be able to depend on your pay being processed in the US too, so when there are problems it doesn’t take weeks to get it resolved, if ever. But I do agree that the timing seems too coincidentally related to the end of the quarter too lol

Agree … this was not a mistake. Did the same thing to us that Honeywell does to vendors.. “so sorry the check is in the mail call again in 30 days if payment hasn’t been received. The people that handle that are asleep now.”

Honeywell is a shady business that takes advantage of anyone they can by calling them “partners” or “preferred supplier” or the most vulnerable “associates and employees”.

My vendors routinely tell me “no orders until Honeywell pays the past dues”.

HR is a complete disaster right now and keep a strong eye on your pay every month, they made serious 'mistakes' with my pay and I had to fight to get them corrected .
Being just sh1t is one thing, scr@wing with my pay is something different.

A company this size outsourcing something this important is unbelievable.
I wonder who made the call to outsource these critical departments such as payroll and IT.

Payroll has been outsourced to a 3rd party like everything else. They screwed up my check a few months ago and it took about 6 weeks before I saw the money. Calculating paychecks is very complex. Lots of addition and multiplication and a lot of ins and outs and what have yous. The person I was e-mailing was in the Philippines. Pretty much all of HR is outsourced now. All of the recruiters and onboarding "specialists" are not Hon employees. It now takes 2-3 months just to hire an employee or transfer positions internally. This entire company operates in slow motion now. If you do have to e-mail anyone don't even expect a response. Best you'll get is a "I'll look into that and get back to you" then crickets.

I guarantee you they didn’t mess up. Quarterly results are coming. By not paying you. They made their numbers

Think about it. It will be on your next check. This would be right after quarterly results. No accident. How do you like your company now?

And I still haven't received my paycheck, and he took my stapler. And he never brought it back.

HR probably did it on purpose. They probably got a gold star for cost savings.

HR has dissolved into 20 year old ambitious eband role chasers or rookies who can barely spell well enough to send emails.

I wonder what confusion caused HR to mess up payroll, I would have thought a red flag would have been caught showing hours worked didn’t match hours paid thru a query before the final approval for this pay period.
Too bad that super powerful QUANTUM computer that Honeywell keeps talking about didn’t calculate the error in a fraction of a millisecond.

At Olathe the TWB data was correct, but HR/Payroll screwed up causing a lot of grief for those counting on that money for upcoming rent and end of month expenses. Should be paid out before next pay day or with an added premium of 20%. This should "help" motivate those filling out the VOE survey to give a low score...
