Haha, it's ok. say what you want, I'm young and still have great days ahead of me. I'm in this company for experience and this is a stepping board for me to join other companies.
Anyway I would say alot of contract staff are so much better than some perm staff in terms of working ethics and attitude.
I just want to see some perm staff layoff cause they really do not deserve to be perm.
Notice Australia was not “PIP’d”. Because this is a lay-off.
It is terrible and how some of our people treat contractors. I understand following our company policies but some people really use it as an opportunity to treat people like garbage just because they can. It is an arrogance that Is truly embarrassing.

Set up email address, get people affected to contact the email and identify themselves, verify identity, form a closed support group. Share info through telegrams, whatapp. Coordinate efforts as a group to reach out to MOM, TAFEP, NTUC, MPs and media. Fight for your rights. No one will do anything for you except yourself. Remember this fiasco will continue, if we dont speak up against it, it may be you the next round. End of the day, you are not asking the company for more, just asking to be fair. #EMplayfair

Does bring me much needed courage to speak up. I will give MOM a call next week to do my part. While I have accepted the PIL terms, I’m not expectation more compensation but at least a fair conclusion to this episode. Really unethical for this EM to do such things to the workers.. they could have just be honest about their business performance and we would have accepted and move on.. had been given several recognition awards for hard work and told I was performing well and suddenly after the covid19 crisis.. NSI.
If NSI, they should have terminated us immediately rather than wait until a crisis to make their mind..

This is looking positive. Please urge everyone who are PIP’ed or PIL’ed to submit their cases so that pressure will be on MOM to conduct a proper investigation.
At the same time, consider talking to the MPs in your respective constituency to provide feedback on this dirty disguised exercise by EM so that maximum pressure is kept on MOM to perform its job.
That is good news. Hope to hear a just outcome.
