Yep, Ford Pass stranded me one time. The first and only time I trusted Ford Pass to protect my keys in the truck. I had to take an Uber home to get my extra key.
Fordpass misshapes deserve its own posting and topic of discussion.
I laugh when I see a resume with an accomplishment featuring Fordpass.
Fordpass is a reflection of the rest of our products. Anyone that doesn't think this company is on it's last leg is a mo--n.
@6wko+1sGOlflw: High schoolers might have been able to code a better app than the current FordPass, but would they be willing to work as cheaply as the people Ford is hiring or contracting in low-cost countries? That seems to be all that matters to the current senior management team in Dearborn.
Damn I just checked the reviews on Google play for Fordpass and boy are people upset.

I'm letting FoMoCo go. I won't buy another Ford product and I will encourage my friends and family to steer clear of them too (won't take much).
ford stock dropped almost 4% today! damn right it's in the toilet, espc compared to GM, Tesla and almost every OEM.
Farley gambledand lost betting on EV, Doug hasn't demonstrated he's capable of producing an EV, let alone any vehicle.
I agree with another poster what's in the studios espc Lincoln looks disgraceful.
Sales are terrible, dealers are furious over the EV mess and billions of $$$$$ lost on AV, Next, cancelled programs, MCS, etc.....

@3shz+1sGOlflw In looking at Doug's bio. The guy never stay any where for more than 3-5 years. That info is public. He is not a car guy . for that matter neither is Jim Farley.
Sorry the record speaks for itself. JF been a group VP or higher since 2009 when he hired in.
Since he hired in we lost market share. So going all in for EVs and loosing $4-5bn a year is not common sense. As for Doug simple question. What has he delivered in his career? If he was such a hot commodity then why did all his previous employers not counter offered? Yeah I hear the crickets on that one..
How are sales these days. I would imagine trucks are piling up? Downsizing to come!

I use to work at Ford and I hated all the rumours this site stirred up, so now I spend my time making it useless so people stop reading junk on here and get back to work helping Ford get better. Based on the downvotes I get when I write the truth, I think I'm finally getting to the trolls who spread fake cr-p just trying to disrupt things. Considering that just a little over 2 years ago the stock was at $25/share, yeah it's in the toilet.
Look at the rest of the market in that time, up a lot. Are you can find a short term gain and champion it. But you compare the stock to it's all time high, and to it's relative trajectory compared to the overall market.
To a layman, which you certainly are, $10 to $12 is a gain. But people that know the market know this stock is in the dumper. If it wasn't for the dividend, which this company really cannot afford to pay, the stock would likely be at least 50% of what it is now.

I am thinking Tuesday 5-28-24 could be the day. We are getting monthly evaluations now instead of quarterly, So in customer service they want you to be perfect but do it less and less time. When the system apps like CCS and Pinnacle do not work properly that ki-ls your time to complete the call and wrap up the call. I also realized when I was told that telling a customer who is in the Military “Thank you for your service.” was a waste of time and can take up seconds on a call. That is awful. They have also put more on the customer service reps. With each dept sending more work to India and China they still have decreased people who may need to speak to a customer or dealer in a particular area or specialty so now customer service reps have to learn more and more about each dept. OMG. What a mess.
You had me until you said Ford stock is in the toilet. It's over 12 a share. Way better than the 10 a share in November.

On August 22, 2022 agency folks were let go the same time as salaried employees. But the agencies were told Friday but not to tell the employees until Monday. Some of the agencies went ahead and told the employees. Likely happened again. Could Tuesday be D-Day??
It’s awful that Ford lays off agency workers green stripe badges just before the memorial holiday. So I suspect major salary workers are targeted next beginning Tuesday this upcoming week. None of these Ford layoffs would be necessary if senior management was any good. Bad decisions. Bad management. Bad quality. Bad BoD. Bad CEO. Bad future products - none all ICE canceled and ICE staff fired! Ford went all in on EV’s and they are going to loose their a$$es!

Ford has way too many employees with nothing to do since 2020. I do agreed that the company needs to clean house and be more efficient in order to be profitable.
Focus on placing people on the right job a d not just a warm body.

I was agency person also cut in May 2023, and was part of a wave of stealth cuts before the larger ones in June of 2023. Be prepared to deal with a lot of fake job postings, and research side hustles, such as investing.
