So, as everyone could see yesterday, corporate and specifically Merlo are p-ss-d at the NYT article. I do know there are some changes coming however.
I know personally of the upcoming changes. CVS plans to fire back and silence everyone by increasing hours but only temporarily until the heat is off.
So be aware, any hour increases that are coming around the corner are only temporary as the company only cares about two things: money and public image.
CVS should spend money on Training the PIC's and Pharmacist on how to manage. Tech's either stand around and occupy themselves or do something they like. It's not always about hours. It's usually about production and lack of direction. Jon R. should get involved more in understanding Pharmacy workflow.

They might raise hours but we don't have anyone to fill them so it's a moot point.

I read that article, and was so appalled that I wrote to my state senator asking them if they read the article, and what they are going to do about it. I don't work for CVS, BTW. I will keep on my senator about it.
They will raise script budgets so the excuse they will use when it’s time to cut is that everyone isn’t making scripts so hours must be cut. Even if the budget is inflated.
It’s all a number game.
That’s exactly what CVS does. They get their hand caught in the cookie jar, so they play nice until the heat dies down and then go back to their evil ways again.
