@4abb+1vkQgDd1 It’s not fear mongering. It’s happening. You can close your eyes and pretend you don’t see it. Or be in denial at a growth center. The only thing we aren’t sure about is the exact date(s). I do know for next year they are trying to layoff aprox 2,000 across operations according to slides I saw. So that’s about 10%. It also showed layoffs across operations this year. Not sure if we met this year’s layoff goals yet, so no idea if they are done for the year. The slides I saw only showed a projection for the next couple years. It wasn’t month by month. If you don’t believe me then live in your pretend world. It’s not me fear mongering. It’s BNY. The slides claimed BNY upped their staff levels since Covid. But it didn’t show country by country. I’d only assume for staff levels to go up that they must have hired several staff overseas for each employee laid off in the US since I’ve only seen my US location shrink by at least 2/3’s if not more. So now they are trying to get down to pre Covid staff levels.

Someone in this forum said Nov layoffs (massive scale projected) is a not happening and it is another blatant lie (fear mongering which is rampant in this forum to the extent it has become unreliable source).

Yes there were a few let-go and for reasons (the one person wanted to walk way with a year worth of free money and the management complied ). It is exactly what she wanted and she made the request to her management (not even a surprise or a secret)

Now we need to move on to the many that go home before the end of the day. It is a revolving door starting around 10 AM.

@2udm+1vkQgDd1 They also track your IP address to see if you’ve logged in. Which helps if you left your badge at home. I’m not sure if there’s a specific time requirement yet. But it sounds like these people only came in to get their badge swipe in without ever sitting down and working from the office for a few hours.

I do not realize that they start tracking hours in the office.

I thought they only track how many days in the office.
