@4ifk+1qc4OlkB Meh, a lot of the whining occurs off this board.
@4dnt All of the overheated whining is coming from people who’ve been with the company for a decade or more. This rules out most millennials and all zoomers, who aren’t looking for careers in O&G anyway.
The loudest complainers are all older men who aren’t in management roles.
We’re beyond ridiculous here guys.
I’m anti-work, anti-management, and I think maybe even anti-capitalist, but there’s no universe in which you developed post-traumatic stress disorder by driving to Spring and turning on your laptop, often to the tune of $150k+ per year.
How in TF did we get to a point where high-paid office workers are claiming to have PTSD and their humans violated? Like, really? SMDH….
I agree with the OP. You haven’t worked for our lady boss. Took me 2 years to get over her terrorizing us on a daily basis
I agree, it's not appropriate to compare office place stress caused by incompetent management to that resulting from field combat.
On the correct basis, supervision and above, including anyone with Advisor in their title, have become completely unbearable through this year.
Unless someone has gone "postal" at your workplace or if you've become a victim of as--ult while there, you probably don't have PTSD. Disagreement with management and company policies can cause stress, but it's your choice to stay or leave.
You do not have PTSD from your office job in Spring, TX. Give me a call after you pull back to back deployments to Afghanistan with zero dwell time.
