Not trying to spread panic, just checking to see if anyone happens to have any insight when the next round of layoffs might happen.
I'm trying my best to get out of here before Ascension starts making new cuts again. Trying to survive layoffs is no longer worth the effort.

If you mean competitor, you'd be right. Some by force, others by choice of not wanting to endure self inflicted mental health damage of wondering how much longer your job will exist.
@5xno+1gg6Vx7I - Apparently these server and storage people being laid off aren't AT legacy employees but are at a ministry that fairly recently joined Ascension and is now being absorbed (fu---d up) by HCL...
Sadly, the post here are more reliable than from Ascension.
Fake news, check your source.
Bye bye server people.
@4vez+1gg6Vx7I - There were very few storage and server guys retained by Ascension after Oct. 2020. I can't believe they would run off the remainder of what little tribal knowledge is left but hey, it's Ascension!
Being the good Catholic organization they are, they wanted to wait until after Easter to fire everyone. How considerate.
I guess with today being a Tuesday in April, it was the day they told a number of the Server & Storage people they will be let go in June
Who is left in IT to be laid off??? I thought almost everyone was working for a "partner" now??? lol
