@5cjs, I can’t tell if your post was parody or if you might actually mean it.
If the latter, your entitlement and privilege is just oozing through. You work at a company that provides good pay, great benefits, and a bunch of unique perks. Including an extra week off in the prime of summer for “mental health”! Yet you think you’re being “crushed” by a horribly oppressive employer? Good grief. For your sake I hope you never have to work at a more mainstream company that makes Nike look like employment nirvana in comparison.
And a strike?? We make high-priced t-shirts and tennis shoes. It’s not like going on strike is going to mean hundreds of thousands of people will suffer. You aren’t exactly the garbage man or a nurse who provides services society actually NEEDS. The general public would probably laugh hysterically if any of us at Nike went on strike. The ultimate exercise of privileged people not understanding how privileged they are.
I’ll just assume your post was parody. If it wasn’t then please seek therapy. Or better yet make a sign and go stand out on Murray Blvd. I’m sure that will end well for you.
