They already said they are giving 401k matches out to people laid off regardless.. don’t you people pay attention?
@5jtj+16pGKppl part of the improved severance is that we were told even if laid off before the end of the year the company will still include you in the 401K distribution.
Everyone who’s getting laid off will most likely get laid off prior to 12/31. If you’re still on payroll and your last day of work being 12/31, they have to include you in 2020’s 401(k) distribution. Most will be gone by 11/30 in yet another way of saving the company money.
Last days for some in claim will be middle and end of December so there is plenty of coverage for hurricane season September and October.
For some, they didn’t even give them a warning or assessment. Just a phone call, with a script being read. Sorry but your job is being eliminated. But we all know Allstate process’s tons of checks and suits are coming in hot. So what you are saying is, my job isn’t being eliminated, you are just giving it to India because they work cheap. This is not official till you get the official email. Seriously??!!!
