Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Very proud of Intel and Confident in Pat

Pat is great. The whole company is behind him like days of old. This community is sour grapes because most people have, well... been layed off. You all probably missed Alder Lake making AMD and Apple look bad. Don't worry AMD, you can still decompress files faster than Intel. Good for you. When I game or do work, I will use Intel, but if I ever have a billion or so files to decompress, AMD, I know you got my back. Graphics? OMG. Is Alchemist coming to take a huge bite out of someone's market share? Uh oh!

Finally, it is amazing how many employees and former employees don't realize that our 10nm for node density and performance is as good or better than 7nm. Not everyone can be a technologist. Intel is back... Big time.

@5mlj - Intel may not be going away, but it will become the GM or McDonald's of semiconductors. Cheap, commodity, subpar quality products, and razor-thin margins. And that is probably the best-case scenario.

This is Intel HR at work. It is one of the silly ways that the corporate HR gauges the sentiment towards Intel... I actually use to know some of the people that did this type of "work" and they hated it... GLTA.

OP is indicative of how delusional Intel is.

Pat thinks he’s right and the market is “wrong”. He’s ‘pi---d off’ that the stock is in the tank.

He allocates capacity at TSMC while at the same time says Intel will lead.

He grovels for government money since his core business cannot generate enough cash to self-fund.

He calls his own employees fanatical and irrational for staying there (looking at you OP).

It’s all quite comical.
