Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

In response on where to eat in Jax. Both locations are right next to large malls filled with restaurants or have restaurants next door or across the street. Not that I want to eat at any of them. Like I said I bring better. The town center or avenues mall have many ok restaurants.

@5ofg+1k5fTJCZ What a luxury you have to be able to bring a lunch every day! Many at our site can barely afford groceries for breakfast and dinner currently… and we go to the cafe to grab a bag of stale chips for $2.75 after spending 2.5hrs and $8/day in gas to commute to and from the office where we sit next to others (who aren’t even on our team) with a hacking cough all day… all while those JAX executives are locked up in their private little office all day.

Who says we have a choice? They want us in the office even though plenty of people never see an office. I don't get complaining about the lunch though. I bring a much better lunch than they offer in the cafeterias. There are also plenty of nearby options for food also. I even bring my own water because the building water is terrible.

The water is in a can.. so not only is it Aquafina which is disgusting it also taste like metal. And… a PB&J isn’t supposed to make you wonder if you’re eating an ice cream sandwich! It would be far better warm vs icy. Point is… they don’t care and the food is garbage.

so, is the Aquafina water in a can or bottle?

The 600 cafeteria is nasty. Days old food, the workers don’t care and they’re so disgruntled and rude. Zero selection.. I could go on and on. Literally no point in them being there other than taking our $ since the little help yourself shop app is cr-p and the internet is too weak to let you pay for the over-prices cr-p food anyways.

this office is disgusting and should be turned residential asap. waste of space in today's world.

You could just be real and say you are choosing to work from home without making such a weak excuse. Many of us are choosing to work from home...
