Well @5qaz+1nUyY35E there are actually more layoffs as announced today by EOY. So this was not as far out there as you mentioned.
Hiring freeze. Hiring probably to start back next year.
meh…..I’ve been at Citi for 10 years. Every quarter for every year, the same rumor is circulated.
“Layoff’s a coming” and whoever tells you that, makes sure to list the group you belong to the layoff roster for emphasis in order to encourage that “oh no, not me” factor.
Sometimes its true but most often it is not.
A coworker of mine got laid off 10 days and was told it was a "business decision" and that there was a massive layoff across the board that was kept hush hush.
Yes. No layoffs and no cuts as of right now. They are concerned about expenses and in a hiring freeze
