I don’t think this is an Intelligrated facility, see below
There was an interview that VK recently did, some kind of forum I think, the link was posted on this site in another post. In that interview, he specifically said that for SPS/Intelligrated, they had ‘moved all manufacturing to Mexico’. Would’ve thought those affected were already told this months ago, but maybe not. At least good to see they finally gave a WARN notice, guess there was no way out of that one with the whole building being closed. Suppose it’s only the layoffs used to save the stock price & executive bonuses that fly under the WARN notice radar 🙄
@6dwc+1oHjwbUZ Pure evil if they don't!!
@6djs+1oHjwbUZ December 15th, that is 401K vesting day. Please tell me that this means they get their 401k match.
It's the Honeywell Scanning and Mobility OH98. A custom label and media company, was Intermec Technologies.
All but 5 or 6 people last day will be December 15. Over 70 % of the employees left now have 20 plus years at the building.
Is anyone still at Intelligrated? If so, who the heck are their customers?
Moving everything to Mexico worked out great for Dematic... Glad Honeywell took note of mistakes the competition in material handling had made in the past.
eye roll
This is only the start. I heard London and Danville is closing with all moving to Mexico.
This one is new, it is actually the "Fairfield" location.
CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) - A Greater Cincinnati manufacturer is closing another site in Butler County, laying off 66 workers.
Honeywell is closing its Intermec plant at 9290 Le Saint Drive in West Chester on April 30, 2024. The first employees will be laid off effective Dec. 15, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notice (WARN) filed with Ohio.
West Chester Intelligrated closing is old news.. unless this is another plant.
