Dancer. Gateshead has failed to deliver customer orders since NOV took over. Please elaborate ?

I think someone upstairs has been given authority to post and put a positive spin on things. No wonder the board lights up.

Yr not an office gimp are you.

A lot of the rhetoric on here seems to come from one really bitter person who wants the place to fail due to the fact he is no longer taking the piss and not part of it anymore.
You were found out, get over it pal

It’s hard to run a factory! It’s easier to move the product to different facility and let them deal with it

Yr royally going down. A failing plant that has not delivered in 10yrs since being bought out.

RIP Gateshead. The Anson brand will live but not made in the UK. Dumb iron, unions etc. The market is upon price. You can’t compete.

Had your chance the last downturn to evaluate supply chain, structure, production product line, diversification etc. 5 yrs later.....

No change. Bye bye

The poster of the Gateshead month figures is clearly transparent or guided to post. That said the figures posted GBG (GB Pounds Stirring) not USD. There is a lot of ground to be made to be in profit for the site.

£4M, it’s stock,, 100% inter company. Nobody is buying for production or exploration.

It’s dilution, and will haunt in months to come as it’s capital what do NOV dislike. Capital. The irony is beyond belief.

Lol very amusing “Gateshead is making money $4M orders in etc etc” well it will be a first for 5 years, when it became part of PPS was the last time it made any actual non intercompany profit. Correct me if I am
Wrong but NOV as a whole also hasn’t made any real “put it in the bank” money for about 5 years as well mmmm well shucks when was the segments formed ... oh about 5 or 6 years ago mmmm that’s a coincidence

Way hay. Thought you would never appear again with yr monthly update. Hat off to you young chap.

You are Mr Positive

That said, terrible news for the customer. Over promise and under deliver. It’s ok not for builds or customers. Cos there ain’t any. Stock no doubt so deliver when the you want.

I just get too keep my parking space for a bit longer. Happy Days.

Mallet. You probably won’t need a cushion to kneel on since it’s routine the s—ing service you offer.

I guess that’s a cost saving on your part.

Maybe, the people posting are employed by NOV and vent their frustration on boards like these. Maybe you should take that into account before commenting.

I too are holding out for the pay day of redundancy that is coming

The last oil recession we were saved purely due to a sharp intake of orders and demand for oil

This is different, and this is your daily lesson Mallet. Demand has dropped and will continue to do so. People’s routines have changed and will continue to do so. Movement with cars, trains etc will continue to decline. People are now used to shopping and working from home. Hence in simple terms (just for you) demand will fall

Oil companies have lived off the fat for too long and don’t know how to diversify into say renewable energy. Nor know how to operate a business cos they have always done the same thing. These put together is why NOV will fail.

Oil is on the decline. Full Stop.

There endeth your lesson.

Honestly guys how can you think you won’t be closed, your delivery reputation is in the garbage, your product is a commodity, lots of other more reliable cheaper suppliers. To top it all you have been merged with wireline who only sell your 1502 and 2202 low torque valves.
Stop squealing like a stuck pig and die already

Will be amazed if you making anything by the end of the year.

If you made a cup of tea it would be 2 months late, cold and the milk would be off.

Must be hard living with a reputation and reality you can’t carry out the most basic of functions.

I guess change is something you don’t do. Irony.

Will your Key Account Manager keep us posted on your order intake this month, and how we are doing on a the half year target.

Us on the floor are not privy to info. Give us some basic info. It’s not a difficult ask. Basic KPI’s can’t even get that right.

I think he means end of second quarter,
H1 - Half 1 ??
Otherwise the rumor sounds goddam accurate to me, I overheard our VP talking about a plan to merge the business into another unit as he was making a coffee with the HR director. It’s amazing what’s discussed making coffee or taking a rest break

by

Post ID: @acjm+15aI2yFw

I’m referring to an in house Gateshead Director and his two direct reports. You refer to the manufacturing Director for the Eastern Hemisphere who is positioned in Aberdeen.

Gateshead is ran on a crisis management level and who is the most senior that has sent an email. Nothing to do with customer support, satisfaction or anything the Anson 3 say we need to do.

It’s all about how high up it comes from dictates priorities which k–ls customer service. Irony eh.

I’ve listened in on the 830 meetings. Comedy

@9brn+15aI2yFw Hmmm passive aggressive management style, putting a positive spin on anything, people sending anything out for statistics, cylo micromanagement ? Sounds very similar to the plant I work in Aberdeen, do we share a director ? Is the director you refer to based in Aberdeen ?

by

Post ID: @apdx+15aI2yFw

The secrecy is management based, on a passive aggressive style. Putting fear into employees that they will be sought out for posting on this site. Remember this is an anonymous site. Only posts that name people specially are removed.

Mr I’m protected Sales Mgr will be driving a positive spin on anything. Despatch /certs will be celebrating they have managed the simplest of of tasks they are employed to do. Probably because they sent an empty box somewhere on time. Intentionally of course cos nothing is their fault.

The whole place is rife of incompetence/cylo micro management it’s a wonder anything’s on time.

As someone posted on another thread “the largest Inefficiency in any business is management”. This true to the core as far as corporate management and NOV are concerned.

The management from Anson days have and will continue to fail the business, customers and employees

Once these three managers under the control of a certain Director (Director included) are removed only then Gateshead can move forward

Must be so hard working within this environment having to micro manage everything. Don’t worry viagra will keep you hard to weather the storm. I keep it to stop the bed sheets from chaffing my sunburn after a long afternoon in the sun.

F— your plant I did not miss it.
