IT was outsourced as part of a larger strategy for "disrupting healthcare" (they intended to disrupt the market, but inadvertently disrupted the care providers instead.) What they really mean is cost cutting, presumably to hit financial goals in order to get bonuses.
Did Ascension say why they outsourced their IT staff?
I don’t have time to train the contractors they sent me.

Bail and find a new home while everyone is shuffling around!
Its very very bad. The HCL FS hires or contractors or whatever they are, are struggling badly, basically no training at all, hear them getting scolded for missing SLAs etc., while these new HCL managers or whoever they are, pull them into 4-5 meetings a day. I actually feel bad for them. They came in happy to be here, little did they know what they were walking into. The turnover rate will be very very high.
Manager, directors, rehire, and contractor are all leaving it’s a sh-t show already
