Lowell bought the other half of Verizon Wireless from Vodafone at it's absolute peak value. Ever since Lowell referred to T-Mobile as the JV team, T-Mobile proceeded to kick our double digit profit margin to the low single digits. John Stratton was very entertaining in person and probably a great rush chairman back in the day, but under his leadership Verizon Business could not compete with the likes of Amazon.

It would have been awesome for Trivia buffs if John Stratton had been given the CEO job and Stephenson had retired sooner instead of driving AT&T off of a cliff, and our guy with a pink shirt had stayed a bit longer! Damn it, McAdam!

Which country and which industry in the world had their top three companies run by executives with all having same first names?
John Stratton - Verizon
John Stankey AT&T
John Legere - T-Mobile
