COBRA enrollment

Please help!

I had some personal issues and have not been able to mail the Cobra enrollment form. I checked it again and it says that the enrollment form must be received and/or postmarked no later than 12/30/2020 (that is December 30th). The Cobra coverage started yesterday 11/01/202 and I am covered starting yesterday even if the enrollment form has not been mailed yet. Is this correct?

Fill out the Health Benefits Continuation Plan Enrollment Form from Taben Group which you received in the mail. See the Note listed on the bottom of that sheet which reads, "In order to be enrolled in the Health Benefits Continuation Plan this Enrollment Form must be received and/or postmarked no later than 12/30/2020." There is also a website listed to log in with your User name and Password to view your account. The address to mail in the form is listed on the bottom of the sheet. You do not have to pay for anything as it is provided by RJ for one year. I received the confirmation of my Cobra benefits are paid for one year. Taben Group 1-800-675-7341.

I created the post, thank you for your support!
I called Taben a couple of hours ago and left them a voice message, I am still waiting for them to call me back but if someone can provide information. As I understand RJ is providing one year of Cobra coverage and RJ is paying for it starting 11/01/2020, this is the coverage I want. Are we enrolled automatically and we will receive some confirmation from Taben? Do we need to call Taben to be enrolled? Or, do we need to mail the enrollment form without a payment? I have seen I have my profile in Taben's system.

I worked at RJ for more than 2 decades and I am not too familiar with this, that's why I am reaching to this forum.

Call taben, very nice to deal with. You have time to Enroll it’s just there might be a lapse in coverage until the paperwork is processed. They moved it thru in just two days for me. Good luck

I suggest you call Taben, that's what they are there for. this really isn't the forum for this kind of advice. Health insurance is being paid for by RJ. very surprised you didn't take care of this asap.
