I understand why they lie to us, but why they lie to themselves that everything that is wrong in this company is the fault of the employees, it is not clear to me at all. I don't feel guilty if the sales aren't as big as they planned, they should finally accept their responsibility. What did they do to have the great sales they wanted? When will they finally stop blaming people for everything?

Ive been blamed before.
Machine shop i worked at yrs ago, thanksgiving morning i gota call to come to work.. Made a drill string sub that had a wrong connection i made the night before. They tried to write me up, tried to blame me. The problem with that management group is I had the drawings from them, given to me to put on that sub.
I told em get cleaned with a four letter word. Handed them what i was given. Nothing happened after that. So always protect yourself.

Market share for ALL “anchor” brands continues to erode to new competitors with comparable technology and more efficient operations. NOV cannot even capture the full benefit of their installed base anymore… NOV is a victim of its own fixed mindset, morelike.
The ground shifted under NOV’s nose and there was nobody leading a proactive defense or transformation of the core business… now they pin their hopes entering digital operations and alternative energies against competitors with MORE money and far greater technical expertise… how can it go wrong?
I don’t hear employees being blamed. Curious where you’re getting that from. NOV’s challenge is that it’s a victim of it’s own success in making O&G operations more efficient, along with intense competition and limited product differentiation. Cost is king these days. You don’t see a lot of money being made by anyone in industries like this. It’s just a tough environment and everyone is getting squeezed.

Because in this country, were all taught that loosing is unacceptable. You fight! You lie!
You do not accept accountability.
You only win. Its why the as----e behind you on the highway comes flying past and gets in front. Its about winning at all costs!
Human decency and courtesy has gone out the window.
