What are your bonuses looking like? In PI, it’s not too bad this year

I guess 2% is the salary hike per annum ( lol). 85% must be the target of RRP or bonus so 10k target, actual is 8.5k. Its my best guess.
No bonus with 2% increase given. How lovely to not cover inflation to maintain same standard of living. I really was expecting upwards of 5-6% at minimum due to the stressors and mental burnout put on us the last two years from Covid and also due to inflation- nope!
I received a disgusting 2% - so I’m realistically losing 5.5% of my salary due to current inflation. That’s how much this company cares about our well being.
Can you guys speak in plain english what do you mean nothing then 2% then 85% what are you talking about?

In the face of 7.5% inflation and another great financial year RRP funded at 85% of target, merit funded at 2%. Company didn't even bother to tell managers why so low, so managers in tough spot delivering the bad news. Terrible senior leadership.

The way the RRP is structured is very unfortunate for the employees as managers are forced to stack rank staff- meaning even if you have a phenomenal team of outstanding professionals- you have to down rank some as your told your permitted to only give a certain percentage of 4’s and 3’s. It is highly unfair to lose a portion of your bonus due to corporate policy of a rigged bonus system.
This sounds like adult day care/school. Really, ratings, reviews, baselines, grades, it's sad. We're grown a-- women and men. Why are lorded over by these arbitrary "leaders" that determine how and when we should live our lives? Even if you get a good "grade"-whatta get, like 2%? It does n't even cover the huge inflations/greed that exists in the corporation
Because all managers know exactly what the merit baseline is and what they gave employees on their team for many weeks now. Same with entity rating and how much RRP roughly will be. It is very similar to exactly the same for the past three years if you want context.
How the H*ll would you know what "bonuses" look or that PI's are good... Common review doesn't even begin until 2/15/2022

Why would the capitalists /USians give you anything? Their "job" is NOT to give you anything to maximize their profiteering.
@OP+1eOh8D7r you got a bonus in payment integrity? I didn't see anything unless they are handing out the bonuses with the yearly increase thing

I am a boomer, a late boomer. The idea that we had it easy early on is correct. I do not have a degree, but went to a 2 year trade school and learned health care delivery. My first job out of school was working for a large international corporation making $16 an hour, about $35 in todays money. In the early 90's the company I worked for wanted us to train an outside company to take over our work. We rebelled and were told in no uncertain terms to do it or we would be fired immediately. We complied, but I knew my days there were numbered. I left that company and became a subcontractor installing and servicing the equipment I had been working on in the field. The work involved extensive travel and ridiculous hours, but paid very well. For an installation we had to work 24 hours straight. From noon to noon. However a full installation payed $3500. By the late 90's I was making $90K after taxes, about $125K now. Then the clients we were installing for started to balk about all the money they were spending, which was about $4500 to install a $75K system. The typical American nickel and diming began. Instead of flat rate, with us covering all expenses and guaranteeing our work they started to pay piecemeal. So much for a cable, terminal, etc. By the early 2000's there were no more subcontracting jobs, only employees. By 2005 I was making $35K as the employee of a company doing more work than I did in 1995. As a subcontractor I set my own schedule for availability and worked about 40 hours a week, but had many free days. By 2005 I was working 80-100 hours a week for that $35K. In the end I had to leave that sector and find something else. The struggle is real, the continuing funneling of our labor gains up the ladder has been going on for a long time, and frankly, even though I knew it was happening, there wasn't anything I could do to stop it. Don't give up, keep pushing and refuse to be exploited by these sleazy American corporations. Maybe finally we can get some kind of fairness, although at this point I do want to see justice.
The whole point of capitalism is to produce obedient broke workers without savings so they can't show their boss their "middle finger"
Low wages are part of that equation and they are made to beg for overtime and some cr-p health insurance that they pay dearly for each paycheck for little "coverage' plus tons of out of pocket costs.
What urgency would a worker that has housing, food, healthcare, education, childcare, public transportation and secure retirement have to go work for a capitalist pig?
The long experiment in denying USians what they need the most.
Exploitation, suffering, imperialism, and poverty are features of capitalism not the flaws.

It was always about profiteering. Employees are and were just an impediment in their American hustling and huckstering.
Not sure, I haven't been forwarded key emails and they delayed when we can get into comp planner. If UHG was a good company merits and bonuses would reflect the very good work done and also the very rapid inflation. I have a feeling it will be more of the same and should cause on exodus of more employees with few replacements. Good luck everyone.
