Hi, I have a disabled child who needs to go to a special school. I couldn’t find anything in OR but found a fantastic school in NY and hence moved there during Covid. My manager who has also moved to another state is now asking me to move back to my home state within 30 days or else she will term me. However, the manager is sitting pretty ina different state. Finding another job is not an option right now. Can anyone help me navigate this situation?

Stupid really because nobody is actually going to work from the office more than once per month if they have been remote all this time. It’s a waste of gas, time, and human energy.
For most groups intel is allowing you to move to a location that already has intel presence. It is possible that in time it will allow fully remote but they are very clear that they are not going to do it in near future.
You can petition for special exemption based on your circumstances. Intel may make an Ernst effort to accommodate you.
Give your manager the finger and find yourself another job in a better company than Shitel. GF in NY could be an option for you.
@OP: Why “Finding another job is not an option right now”? From what state did your manager move? To what state?
Go to GF they have been bragging tons of jobs with a lot of pay
Sorry but it is what it is. You shouldn’t have expected to set your own terms. Move back or get a new job.
