As a person let go in this layoff, I found the frequent negative and judgmental labeling of those let go as (e.g. "slackers", "deserved to be laid off", "unwilling to change", "difficult to work with", "poor performance", etc.) to be very painful.
Anyone going thru this is going to have some self-doubts and reflect on what happened. It got me to thinking, are all of us selected, bad employees? Why was I given good reviews then? Nobody ever told me I was difficult or unwilling to change. It makes no sense?
Suddenly, a thought occurred to me! What if the people posting these types of comments while giving internal information only a Ford employee would know, are not rank and file employees but instead are people assigned by Ford to justify the layoff by blaming the people let go? Does that sound absurd? Well, it turns out that this company has a history of hiring "special" people who's job it is, to deal with employees (current or striking) who makes trouble for Ford Motor Company. Go search for "Harry Bennett" and "Ford Service Department" (LOL not service for vehicles!). You make up your mind but so much trolling and negativity on EVERY POST is suspicious. It reminds me of the obvious Russian trolls who post negativity on Ukrainian war videos showing victories against Russia.
I challenge any person who has these negative views about those let go to PROVE HERE, how you KNOW those laid off were let go for the reasons you give.
