I don't really believe people when they say this. There used to be separation packages all the time around here and they never reached the numbers needed. There were always layoffs afterwards.

Isn't that how this should work though? Think about it, they would like to pay you as least as possible for the most work. That's business....if it wasn't they wouldn't be outsourcing your jobs...they for sure don't want to OVER pay you...what's wrong with that working both ways? Do the amount of work you get paid for. All that's called is business. Some like to call it quiet quitting, but those are people that subscribe to the false narrative of companies always being the good guys and the employees being unconditionally loyal (a.k.a stupid). Those days are (and have been) going away for some time. Do what you are paid to do. Anything additional is free and they don't deserve that. Overachive on your own time when it benefits you and your family, not a huge corporation that would be the same weather you were there tomorrow or not. Unfortunately LCC employees will do whatever it takes and they will be exploited...that too is business. Until they reach a point where they value themselves enough to be respected it will continue.
