Thread regarding Ford layoffs

This whole affair with tariffs was an unnecessary scare

We need a decent business environment to even try to put Ford on the right track. We really don’t need to be je-ked around with another threat that can undermine the industry and cause more layoffs. I need this job and I don’t need another reason to be worried if I’ll still have it the next day.

Nobody smuggles we-pons from Canada into the US. They go the other way into Canada. US needs to tighten the border to stop g-ns leaving into Canada or Canada will apply tariffs.

@OP. I don't like it neither, but how do you force your "allies" to do the right thing?

I want you to think about this. Canada and Mexico have left leaning "progressive" governments, where they don't care about us. All the caravans and immigrants coming to our south borders have to go through Mexico. Most of them walk freely through Mexico, with no obstacles, even getting temporary permissions from Mexico, because these people are not planning to stay in Mexico. Now, the immigrants that want to stay in Mexico, they have to wait many months to get a piece of paper from the government, but as soon as they say they want to come to America, they get the papers in order to continue the trip.

Then we have Trudeau opening Canada's borders to immigrants. Guess what happens when those immigrants arrived to Canada, and see the sh!t that liberals have done with the country? They cross our northern borders. Canada has accepted roughly 8 millions foreigners (around 20% of the population). It is estimated that 1/3 of the immigrants are leaving Canada in the first 5 years of their arrivals.

That's just immigrants. I haven't talk about dr-gs, we-pons, human trafficking, foreign companies using Mexico and Canada to import goods using the NAFTA 2.0 agreement.

All that Mexico and Canada have to do so tarrifs go away, is to do their part in the borders. So we'll see what happens. Hopefully, we can mend things without casualties.

Stop whining, princess. If laws were enforced like they're supposed to be, and if government agencies were doing what they're supposed to be doing, these "threats" wouldn't even be a thought today because we'd only have a small fraction of the problems we do today. Maybe, just maybe, you'll take more interest in what the government is doing all the time, under every administration, holding everyone accountable when you vote, rather than just when the bad orange man is president.
