Thread regarding Ford layoffs

From now on I'm quiet quitting

We lost two of our best people. It just proves that no matter how hard you work, you're not safe. In other words, there's no point in breaking your back for Ford when the outcome is the same as it is for people who barely lift a finger. So I'm basically done.

It seems like the shedding of good people started in 2019 because they began looking at eliminating the people that would save them the most money. What they don’t seem to consider is that those making more than their peers have probably been getting better performance reviews. Be mediocre!

@a7+1jv9txv72 - If the ask is that the team works weekends and extra time to get it to you that means a failure in management and resource planning. The group works and does the amount it is paid for. If that's not good enough, SOL I guess...don't buy one if you don't like the fact that people aren't doing more than what they are paid to do. Simple.

Why did you think otherwise? Were you on of those that bought into the "family" bs that was shoved down your throat? Did you actually believe they "cared" for you and you family? You are a sheep. You're just a number. When they are done with you, you go to sla-ghter. Never give more than required.

This is the problem at Ford seniors are corrupt so everyone follows suit, why not be different and go against the tide with dignity and honesty.

It’s not how many hours you put in, it’s what you put in to to those hours.

@OP. Welcome to the club! 2022 was the wake up call for me. We lost good people then, and the trash is still around, not moving a finger and getting paid. So I've been doing 40 hours a week most of the time.

At least this guy spelled it right. How many posts have I seen about "quite quitting" haha. Good job, original poster.

Oh, the irony of bragging about doing something quietly.

Nobody cares.
You are posting this because you are weak and irrelevant. If you mattered at all you would have left by now.
