You people have no ba--s.

Either answer it truthfully or don’t respond.

If you lie to appease you’re stabbing your coworkers in the back and can eat a bag of d*cks

We might have to customize the lyrics to that ol’ Johnny Paycheck (DAC) tune to “Take This Survey & Sh0ve It!”. 😏

@OP I’ve been here almost 25 years. I’ve only seen one time where this survey made a little difference kinda. Our arrogant “God’s gift to his subordinates” Director got beat up on the survey and he was forced to come meet us face to face with his hat in hand. He is part of the club so he got moved to a cushy golden parachute job before his upcoming retirement. This is by far the most toxic workplace that I’ve seen in my 40 plus years in the communication business. I can’t wait to leave.

No, it’s not anonymous, however, read the legalese this year. It clearly states supervisors won’t see individual responses. That’s a bunch of cr-p because they should, but apparently not this year. LET HER RIP!

Taking the survey or not is based on each individual’s circumstances. Many will take it and if you do, that far left answer is what gets attention.
The last question will go to your manager and based on writing style will be able to determine who wrote what answer.
So if you’re going to take it be smart about what you say in the last question

“ Choice was always made based on performance and/ or people that were cancerous ”

That’s how it ‘should be’, but you know d@mn well that’s not always the case.

“ So you never chose which person on your team was going to be laid off then?”

Of course I have, many times. And just once did I think, “let me go have a look at those eNPS surveys to help me make this decision…”

Choice was always made based on performance and/ or people that were cancerous to the rest of the team; angry miserable people that couldn’t get along with anyone.

Like yourself, for instance.

Stop being so paranoid and helpless.

Right. So you never chose which person on your team was going to be laid off then? You are either stup1d, or lying, or both. Congrats on being another useless L2 that should be replaced by ChatGPT.

If you answer the survey, I will be sure to align your name to it share what I discover to your supervisor. I'm here to be an a-hole in short term as well as eventually take your job in coming months. Let's go AI!!

I can see refusing to take the survey based on the CEO lying and reneging about sharing last year's OHI survey results. I totally get that.

For the completely paranoid (seems there are many of you)...yes, as always you have to log in with your UID. And yes, theoretically that means they can absolutely tie responses to specific people. That said, as I have explained here multiple times...over 25 years I have never been contacted from higher ups expressing concern on specific responses from specific users. This idea that you're going to be terminated if you provide any criticism or negative feedback on this thing is ridiculous.

So don't take it if you don't want to. But if you want to take it and provide honest and critical feedback in a professional manner, you're going to be fine. Stop being so paranoid and helpless.

Anonymous or not I don’t care. I won’t let the bootlickers make it seem like sunshine and rainbows when this place is really he-l on earth.

"Your direct supervisor can read the responses so it does not take a genius to figure out who said what"

There is only one open-ended question. Leave it blank and hammer the company with the multiple choice answers. No way to garner any personal knowledge from multiple choice.

" Whatever you do, don’t fill it out. The only thing that gets their attention is if you completely ignore it."

This is 100% true, but also not reflective of reality.

The majority of people on your team ARE going to take it, especially after being urged to do so a couple times by the AD , Director, and VP. This is the unfortunate reality.

"Your direct supervisor can read the responses so it does not take a genius to figure out who said what and pass that up the chain of command."

Easy to throw them off the trail. Actually can pin your takes on coworkers. Just leave clues that don't apply to you. At my husbands company (even though you're not married or married to a lady). In the 15 years I've been in this department (you're brand new). When I worked as an outside tech (you've never left the office).

That survey has been around with different names since 2011ish. Nothing has changed except a few free snacks and a lot of excuses by upper mgmt.
it would take real effort and leadership to make a change in our culture. That’s not the goal, the goal is to get the stock up at all costs and driving out costs will help to make it happen.
Outside of that, it’s the same sh!t, just a different day.

Surprisingly, there are only a few questions about direct supervisors or our immediate organization. It is easy to put "Disagree" in almost all the answers. And the last open ended question is great to express how you truly feel about executive leadership.

it’s anonymous

Not even close. Your direct supervisor can read the responses so it does not take a genius to figure out who said what and pass that up the chain of command. Non-participation is the best way to tell them how badly they are doing.
