They’d need talent if they had a vision. And if they had a vision, they wouldn’t rely on bland, clueless consultancies specializing in butchery.

I do not think they need to care about retaining talent. That's the nice thing about employment at will we don't have to worry about it. We can let you go or you can let us go and it's a whole legal. If you feel you have 20 years of experience you're not getting what you want then do the right thing leave and make room for new ambitious up-and-comer and stop clogging up pathways to succes.
@vf How could the average rating for FIS on Glassdoor possibly be that high?
This is a terribly run company. Employees are only costs in a spreadsheet to be rank fed into the next RIF round. Of course, chopping is needed to fund the next McKinsey contract
@zz Calling BS on that statement. Many, if not most, are high performers with decades of knowledge that help them do their job well. Sure, there were SOME we could do without, but now many Digital teams are struggling without those that were lost.
Consider performance of those rif’d.
@dj Whenever I see the survey results, I am thinking it is a different happier dept.
@dj notice we haven't seen a survey in quite a long time? Wish they would send them again!
Place is a sh1thole with clueless architects and and even more clueless VPs.
@OP yea but please be sure to go fill out that survey that makes FIS one of the best places to work!
O wow. Appreciate the honesty.
