One small silver lining about the announcement is that it doesn’t start until Sept. So it seems highly unlikely they will be tracking anything in August.

Fight the man and join the 99% by calling out or using PTO on 9/9 to protest RTO!
The cafe in Basking Ridge makes excellent grilled cheese. I get 2 for lunch, on rye bread, so you'll know it is me.
Enjoy the rest of the summer and mail it in from now on, no one cares
People complain, but no one in our entire organization has quit. Some people do actually like this company. Others have patience, ones that complain and don't leave figute they can't find anything better not qualified. Its like an abusive relationship "i hate that person" and that person is like "it is this way, don't like it, leave". But other person is too scared or just likes it.
Might be good to go in a few times so you are prepared for what life will be like after August. Some locations have done a lot of construction and modifications to the offices. Also, you can re-familiarize yourself with your commute.
@ap TRUTH
Some of the rudest people on this site are those in support of RTO. Can’t wait to get to work with you all in person. Sounds like it’s just going to be a wonderful and professional experience. YOU are all the reason why I hate going into the office. Why would I, or anyone else, want to spend time with people like you? The culture in these offices is terrible. And you’re the reason why.
The “point” of going in August is to keep your job. RTO is here and it’s not going away. Su-k it up and get over yourself. This is a non issue and basic industry standard.
Perhaps your skill set would be better at the McDonald’s drive thru or greeting customers at Walmart. Loser.
So much drama over such a non-issue!
@OP The Wireless folks have been in the office three days a week for two years. Not a single person in my Region quit over it. They gave us plenty of advanced notice. The rest of you have had years of notice. Su-k it up.
Roll the dice if you want. Willing to bet you’ll be put on a tracking list.
