Those that have been let go, have you been able to negotiate your severance? It seems like it’s been 2 weeks for every year. Has anyone negotiated severance and actually received more?

@dc this is what I want to know!
What happens with unvested RSU?
Any idea if you came in via an acquisition if they are honoring the full tenure or just the FIS tenure?
@cc agree for the most part except they’ve already taken 99% of the benefits from us and have significantly put off the ones we still get. Like matching 401K having to be here through they say Dec 31 but the reality is February because they won’t put it in until then and if you’re gone before that I can promise they aren’t going to give it to you when no longer at FIS. And merits what little bit you get is put off until July so pretty much that and insurance which was expensive anyway is really all that is left here. So sad!
@a8 I mean, if you're putting in 5+ years of tenure anywhere, especially even higher. I think you should expect more from your company than just, "2 weeks per year".
You helped the company grow into what it is. Not to mention all the benefits you lose out on. No more health insurance, etc.
Oh and the overtime pay I get. Been here over 15 years.
I have a new car coming in August on the car scheme. I’d be trying to get some money towards replacing that. Plus an expenses I incurred buying a new bike rack and getting a dash cam fitted.
@OP Two weeks for every year seems pretty good. What more are you looking for? And what do you offer in exchange for getting more than policy?
@OP if my time comes any time soon, I'll let you know. :)
Otherwise, I'd at least be hopeful for that. I have relatively decent tenure. It would keep me on solid ground for a while at least.
