Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

The worst way to handle layoffs

If you want to see bad management, look at how layoffs are being handled. One day would have been enough, but they've dragged it out for the whole week, which to some of us feels like forever. For days we wake up stressed wondering if today is the day. Why's that necessary? Outside of just being cruel for the sake of being cruel.

@OP dragged it out for 2 years! Layoffs have been occurring since December 2024/January 2025. The moral at every office is very low. The ongoing stress each individual is feeling is beyond unhealthy. Those of us that are left can be assured that the executives running FIS and the Board aren’t worried about how they’ll pay their bills… they have enough employees still working so they don’t miss a paycheck

They fired TPO before they figure out that they need TPOs. Obviously AI firing is not working, so they can not simply get capacity to do it in one day. Looks like thinking is forbiden on executive level.
