Does it count as a swipe if just swipe in main lobby, log into work PC, go back home, work rest of day WFH?

I saw the lady who runs the second floor card store in the upper Lobby taking pictures of the ID cards with some app.
@7bsz, imagine what our "leadership" could do for the company if they weren't so concerned about micromanaging where employees are sitting.
LOL if you guys used even half of the ingenuity that you demonstrate in gaming the system in your actual jobs your careers would take off.
My dept now takes turns each week. We pass our cards to one person who swipes cards for everyone. Card store below will hold cards for you

Badge readers have recently been installed in the stairways.
That was changed because we banded together and raised concerns regarding a fire hazard. It was very scary that we were locked in with doors which only allowed exit via a badge reader. Even before that we would stick boxes of copier paper to prop the doors open. It was frighteningly dangerous.
For now it counts. My manager told me they are looking to implement IP tracking and when that happens anyone caught will be in violation of policy and subject to termination.

Once upon a time at MCSC we had to swipe to leave but that stopped probably 10 years or so ago.
Do you have to swipe your card again to exit the building? If so, no because they would know you didn’t stay onsite for work. My office site require an exit id swipe
Of course it counts as a swipe. But we don't know if they're just counting swipes.
Yes. They said you have to come in 3 days. They never said you had to stay.
