This is pathetic. If DF wasn't failing so miserably at Ford, his buddies wouldn't feel the need to write such silly fluff pieces.
Doug's Tesla tenure was after his first Apple tenure, leading up to the Model 3 launch. Then he returned to Apple again, before joining Ford.
Sounds like Doug Fields is writing articles under the pseudonym Dan Sturges.
Totally bizarre. Model 3 announced in 2015 and Production started in 2016, while Doug left in 2013 to Apple. So this whole thing about Doug's impact at Tesla is a work of fiction.
I think we should ask Elon directly what he thought of Doug…
