@jjyv+1trJAU5n LRs happen at Cisco annual always right before Q1
It's been happening since 2001. If you don't believe it, check with other long term current, or former Cisco employees.

Don't count on ELT to announce anything they don't have to. Or to sugar coat it.
We are not making these things up. Ask around if you don't believe us.

@OP+1trJAU5n layoffs have been announced. Time to stop drinking the Cisco Kool Aid and start working on your resume.

Where was it announced? Cisco quit "announcing" LR's shortly after CR took over and announces them, if they're announced, during the earnings calls. The rare exception to that was the 2nd early retirement offer as well as the "voluntary" reduction for "at-risk" employees back in '22 (or was it '21?).

CX is total flop and with recent re-org, CX engineering managers and Directors are sitting without work and cutting high pay from Cisco. How long Cisco will sustain ? When will they be fired ?

Looks like cuts although at small numbers will come after reporting a disappointing quarter.

You have the NX reorg
Field is comprised of the Meraki Field AMs and Cisco AMs
They are now both going to be goaled on the NX portfolio
Why would you pay 2 people twice for the same job.....

I think many people on the engineering and security teams in SBG need to be fired including their directors

Here is how you know if layoffs are coming or not. Do you have freeze of hire in your organization? Do you see any no real deliverables? Are employees pretending to be busy? Are some employees working on powerpoint slide projects.
I know for a fact that the above applies to SBG. Two Good examples are the director of PMO, DB and director of engineering, TH. These two do not deserve any severance package, they deserve to be fired.

Unfortunately you are not right and LR happening as I’m write. Perhaps not in August but Q1 is for sure.
It’s disappointing how leadership is managing this, no feedback, no performance and development planning just “take your severance and thank you” reading a speech that is 10+ years old - it’s a business decision and it is not about your performance - even all this motion is relatively new and renamed as WTO Workforce Transition Options. Definitively this is not good for a great place to work
