Please stop with the racist posts. I know people can naturally feel they are targeted by skin color or ethnicity, but you’re just making excuses to feel a certain way. If you’re a talented and skilled employee who brings their all to the table and haven’t hit too close to retirement age, you’re fine. It’s 2024, let’s do better and be better. You are delusional. When they get ready to outsource and offshore your team, let's heard about how you brought your "all" to the table.
Verizon has become an "Indian Preservation" culture. Wall-Street is not onboard with this, until that changes, stock will underperform.

We seem to be really focused on questions of culture and racism... As someone who has actually spent a lot of time in India and worked with some really smart and capable people that happen to be from India, I can state with confidence that even Indian people DESPISE the culture that Verizon is allowing to be imported. Make no mistake - India has classicism and scars from colonialism, but so do a lot of other places. What Verizon is importing is not "Indian", but ignorant, shortsighted, sell-your-soul-to-the-lowest-bidder, distract-employees-with-stupid-enthusiasm, make-my-annual-bonus-by-not-paying-a-fare-wage, dehumanizing, morally bankrupt, incompetent, grin-f'cking-people-who-worked-hard-to-build-something-I-don't-respect-or-understand schlock shops that pass for real innovators and technologists and managers. This schlock exists in India. It exist in China. Guess what? It exists in America, with all Caucasian people working there, also being treated like garbage. ...and it does happen to be un-American, if you believe what this country once stood for in the world, which is why we have so many other cultures WANTING to come make their life and raise their kids here. But, btw, the racism on this board - yeah, there's some of that, too - is pretty un-American, seeing as this country was built by immigrants. Everyone had their turn to be kicked- the Irish, the Italians... and yet they worked their tails off and made something. So yawn at me.... Tell me my post is too long... but maybe ask yourself why this schlock goes unrecognized... why the schlock is WINNING. Maybe stop fighting each other or blaming people at the bottom just scraping to make a life for themselves. Yeah stop sending work to India. They had to force some of the indian directors to take package because they were just too much. Micromanaging, constantly pushing engineers, unrealistic asks like this was india. If you are ina higher up position. they should be improving the work culture rather than importing their own work culture here. Bring your ideas to improve the business that's great but don't make life he'll for the folks that work here. American companies should be promoting American culture while celebrating the different cultures that make us American. Not against any culture, just saying.

Complaining about sending jobs to India isn’t racist. Complaining about the poor quality of work contractors do isn’t racist. But some people on here certainly say some terrible cr-p.
