Nothing can undo the damage created by baldy’s Friday email. Was that supposed to motivate us? I’ve never seen people more pi---d off around here than I have this week.

Motivation and morale are now at all time lows. The business will suffer, but who cares? As long as you sit in your seat for 8hrs you’re good! What a joke this place is.

Nothing like asking for open and honest feedback and then entirely disregarding the results because it doesn’t fit your narrative. Best of luck to the chairman of nothing.

I think the worst part of this might be the positive spin the media is taking on Stankey’s email- praising him for his no nonsense attitude, and for taking a firm stance on the company’s policy - as if that takes any skill or finesse whatsoever. Actually solving the problems that HE created, implementing RTO in a reasonable way that would have encouraged the sort of collaboration that might have had a positive impact on culture, acknowledging the conditions that employees are managing with to meet an unreasonable presence mandate - THAT is what his very generous compensation package should be based on. But this is what Stankey does - evades accountability, debases his very own employees, exploits the cover of “market based culture” to justify headcount cuts. We are living in truly different times if this passes not only as appropriate behavior but praiseworthy leadership.
