Any word on concerns, issues or if there will be a work stoppage? I believe the D3 strike set the negotiating bar and consequences if the company plays around. Just make the best effort up front and offer a fair contract.

Stacking groceries and essentials in case of work stoppage. We will at least have some good eating while waiting on a negotiated settlement.
Might lose one or two "managers" to death during a strike, just like the company does each time.
Cost of business I guess.
@a1 unfortunately.. the union has been broke. They hold zero power anymore.

Is that why when district 9 worked without a contract and the possibility of a strike was real, district 3 went on strike, and "leadership" got their mind right?
@aa you are clueless; I left a while ago and have ignored everything T but someone mentioned the contract coming up and concerns with strike. I don't think a majority of the managers thing they can do your jobs as well. One thing is for certain as a cloud and security expert there is zero chance you could be successful doing even 10% of my job. You should take a step off your high horse.

Sir or Mamm. I assure you I'm on no high horse. I respect those that do jobs that require higher training. I know my place in the pecking order of this company. My point is the company places managers in positions during a strike that they have little training for and often places them in danger due to to physical demands of the role.
But, this is AT&T and they don't care.
The company is always having layoffs or relocations regardless of negotiations. Another myth and scare tactic by sycophants. The recent layoffs in labor are mostly related to technology improvements and transitioning to the fiber network. This has been going on for a decade but people notice more as the labor pool shrinks.

The contracts expires April 11, 2026. Soon would be at the end of the year. There isn't going to be any bargaining between now and the end of the year. They won't bargain until after the new year holiday period.
So, this post is early.

D3 went out, but then the company laid off a lot of represented people after that.
Where did they hire Leg T techs off the street?
"They are phasing out the Leg T products so the Leg T union has no power."
They're hiring new Leg T employees off the street. Weird way to phase something out.
They are phasing out the Leg T products so the Leg T union has no power. No chance of a strike. The company holds ALL the power unfortunately.
Here comes the parade of company sycophants. They think they can do craft jobs with a little online "training". Real easy when the company steps and fetches for everything you need. No bugdet, no metrics.
Try to do that when you cover a large territory and there are metrics and budget constraints.
You are not the company hero you think you are.
Stankey needs to bring in Musk and DOGE to address the ineffectiveness of archaic workers.
Stay strong they want to break the Union and ultimately you.
