Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Has anyone been personally betrayed while in ford?

I’m talking peer to peer. Interpersonally from someone with a higher level of authority perhaps in the know. Situations where one might feign ignorance to their benefit and your detriment.

Have you ever seen politics first hand?

I’m not talking about as a witness but someone who directly experienced wrongdoing. Things that lead to mistrust or cynicism. I am not speaking of top down leadership far away from you, but people in a position of power and trust around you. Those you communicate with bidirectionally

How did it make you feel? Did that feeling stay with you? Were you able to get into a better environment internally? Did you trust again internally? Did it ever happen again?

Has anyone undeserving that you personally interacted with got in the way of people who were doing good work?

Has there been a situation where you internally reported something and it was dismissed?

Have you seen a time where something was covered up, but not acknowledged?

Or strange behavior where you think someone in a position of trust and power acted against logic for malicious reasons and not because of incompetence?

What are some personal feelings that you carry and dwelled upon you internally.

OP, there will always be someone, somewhere, trying to take advantage of you. If u let that happen, it’s a choice.

How does this response make you feel?

Asking for a friend.

Ford kept me in a cycle of trauma to get what they want. There was never an answer to what is going on with my future and when there was— it was fictitious and to keep me motivated. Every time I reported a problem, I would get in trouble and they would then create a new problem hoping I’d forget about the previous one. At times the tactics switched and they made me out to be a problem and used that as a we-pon to keeping me there when they knew I took pride in my work and honor. Instead of getting me out they kept me in a pressure cooker because it benefited the company. They kept telling me it’ll be over soon. They worked to gain my trust to get what they want. They sell you dreams. They cause you problems to forget about previous problems. They turn you into a problem. They benefit from you and work hard to keep you weak.
