So how does LM, a $47M building that is basically up to date for what an office building needs, warrant a $63M 'corporate investment' ? The math does not add up.

The building is underutilized for the number of people that should RTO, more people assigned to the building than offices available. How it survives with no real anchor will be surprising....

@a2 Is there not a dish farm/SHE in Fort Wayne that was Frontier’s SHE?
Could that not become the redundant to SHE2 in Bloomington? Then you wouldn’t have to spend the 10’s of millions to move TT? I guess we’ll know when we know.

Comment us most likely coming from a Tulsa-time Troll. Go back under your bridge lol. Until I hear it from Vz themselves, LM is staying.

@dy the lazy people will be happy to know they can continue ping pong and gym time when they bother to show up at the lake mary office.

@dx Lake Mary will not be closing. I'm sorry, I should have be more clear on that. Lake Mary actually won the site selection process for the southeast on April 9th. They have been given the name as the center of excellence(COE) and will remain open. Building also received a 63 million corporate investment. Lake Mary is staying open while TT is decommissioning about 90% of their employees to virtual. They(temple terrace) will have a very small skeleton crew there to support the FIOS infrastructure there but that's it. So far I know that Basking ridge, Lake Mary and Irving are the only offices that will remain open.

Seems like a lot of facts to back up Temple Terrace closing, but what about Lake Mary? Where did that come from? I work there and have seen no signs or heard any rumors of the building closing.

@a2 They can still sell and lease back the space needed for Fios until the relo is completed.

@ag If they relo the Fios, what is the advantage of keeping there building?

@ag Here's where you are wrong. You said that in progress filings don't appear publicly. That's incorrect. I wouldn't be able to see the DR 405 form itself, which is the itemized list of the actual Tangible property. However, if they did file or are in the process of working with the county property appraiser to dispute the Tangible value, that would be public information and and you would see a petition filed status on the value adjustment board website. I've already addressed this many times. They don't have any active working permits for that building at all. Don't you think that's kind of odd for a building as large as TT? With the description that you gave me, you would see many active major construction or renovation permits for the building. There aren't any. Zero investment of the buildings infrastructure. Oh yeah also, commercial master blueprints of the entire property were sitting in the recycling bin last month. Hundreds of blueprints. I can see them over to you. Let me know lol

@ac I'll call BS on this one, bunch of fearmongering for a building you clearly don't like, and severe VZ derangement syndrome. Taxes are all paid in full and up to date, in progress filings don't appear publicly. Just admit you hate VZ and hate the building (for whatever it did to you, bad elevator ride traumatize you?)

Either way, TT will be VZ hands for quite sometime, with or without people.

For those that choose not to RTO there, it's a not terrible building, plenty of room to spread out, plenty of parking and office options. Does it need work, some floors do, yes. Of the 12 floors across 4 buildings (excluding the DC), maybe 4 floors have not been updated.

@aa Let me break this down. Upon checking Hillsborough county trim notice last year. Verizon data services, which is the LLC tied to Temple terrace had a TPP(Tangible Personal Property assets of 54 million, after exemptions it totalled to around 38 million. Failing to file on a 38 million asset base, the 5% monthly late fee is 2 million alone. Not a single corporate accounting department would make a 2 million dollar mistake. It's over. A forced assessment by the county property appraiser will be done soon.

You are wrong. Temple Terrace isn’t closing. 🤣

@a2 dude they haven't filed their Tangible personal property taxes with Hillsborough county for the building. The deadline was April 1st. They're accruing fees as we speak. A company as large as Verizon doesn't miss this.

Temple Terrace is still the VHO for FiOS tv. While they may let people WFH it will be a very long time before they move that infrastructure. So it doesn't make sense not to occupy it.
