our Indian management team is constantly on us about taking the survey. Every meeting, constant reminder. We want 100% participation....like they get a trophy or something. If you don't take it, it looks bad on them apparently...at least in our group. It's a cultural thing apparently.

If you have a beef with your manager, the best thing to do is to not take the survey at all. They'll come up with whatever corporate bullsh-t explanations for bad results and sweep it under the rug, but if people don't take it at all it will eventually be flagged and your manager will be in trouble. If you feel like your manager is good, take it, give good scores on the 'my leader' section. If you believe your manager is utter garbage, don't take the survey. If the there aren't enough survey answers the response that do come in will get funneled up to your manager's manager and he'll have some explaining to do to HR.

God knows what happens if there wouldn't be enough answers company-wide, but I have zero confidence in that it would lead anywhere.

Tell Dell is completely manipulated. We are a tight group in ISG but we have a train wreck for a Director. She's a total DEI hire with zero experience in our market. The VP is no better.

We all submitted harsh but honest feedback and shared our exact comments with each other word for word. When this id--t (PD) presented the results, she presented glowing quotes none of us ever submitted. It's a scam. It's totally manipulated. Dell is a sham company.

I just stopped doing them all together. Not anonymous. Nor they care about suggestions. I saw this year's first two questions, and they were insulting.
So yea, I stopped doing these things years ago. Am sure not participating adds me to a future layoff list, just like the list of people who do not do the phishing checks.

@bf this is true that employees do not have to take the survey. But that just leads to the apathetic grey box in the middle of the results. What baffles me is that the supporters on the green bar far far outnumber the detractors in the red bar. Apparently some people actually think this is going well. Or they think that anonymous a-s kissing will somehow benefit them. It doesn’t benefit anybody but your manager by the way.

Are we supposed to be reviewing results?
Haven’t heard or seen anything.

@cc Bad press is bad press and a nuisance to the company. It wouldn’t even go to court, it would be settled. Dell prides itself on making the list of ‘most ethical companies’, among other statuses it can’t afford to lose.

@c4 Such a naive post. The problem you don't seem to understand is corrupt US courts will ALWAYS side with the corporations, no matter how much they violate labor laws. Remember: Big Tech + Govt Collusion = More Tax Revenue

If you’re a performer (and your track record supports it), provide honest feedback on ‘Tell Dell’. While doing so, screenshot your feedback so you can use it to prove wrongful termination when you’re laid off for providing honest feedback.
Do not sign termination paperwork. Find others in the same boat. Support each others claims.
You deserve better. And it’s time the company listens to its most valuable assets.

@OP Nobody is required to take it, and shouldn't. It's manipulated every year anyway. 100% propaganda.

Any manager who tells you you are required to take it is lying. Tell them to go fck themselves. It's time employees tell managers what they will do, not the other way around. Dell treats employees like shiit. It's time to start treating them like shiit. Two-way street.

Sure seen some results mentioned in one of the mngmnt presentations which has shown record share of unhappy employees

As a consequence Dell will terminate them as it is easier than to change.
