This company has no future long term; you guys can't even invest in your own employees growing. Who will want to stick around?

Yes this happens to everyone all the time ur not special
Only leadership can attend conferences so they can stay up to date on the latest tech & trends, then sh!t on you for not knowing about the latest trends / tech. Many great companies do this
I was told "only management goto conferences" and stopped asking.
You don’t need to be going to any conferences. Now get back to work training your H1B visa replacement on how to do your job.
Pay for your own admission to the conference, take PTO to attend, and “quiet quit” for enough days to make up for the cost of conference. Sounds easy to me.
@a9+1jh0sj2fj - what are you talking about? The sentiment is that the reason you were denied was precisely because the long term viability of the company actually is in question right now and it wouldn't be a priority to send someone to a conference. One conference denial itself isn't a reason to leave, that'd be silly. However, the reason it was denied would be a reason to leave absolutely. Zoom out a little.
cut at every corner
no need to invest in an employee when they are a disposable
India has untouchables
US has disposables
Wow. One conference denial and somehow the long-term viability of the company is in question. I've been denied many times over the decades for one reason or another but didn't think it was a reason to leave. Hope you're just blowing off some steam.
Comic-on has always been denied. Get over it!
I mean I guess you can ask. But if you aren't higher management what do you expect at a time like this? Read the room. Complaining about it on here will just cause people to roast your comment but if that's what your here for so be it.
There’s no money available to send you to conferences. Get back to work!
