Two very experienced SVPs who reported to CFO left yesterday. Very suspicious circumstances after talking with people close to them.

Two senior directors I know in the Client Office were let go today. They were both highly talented and technically skilled, which only reinforces the sense that this company does not value expertise or tenure just people who fit the mold, are favourites of this dire leadership team, and know how to kiss up.

In settlements, 1 manager confirmed and unknown number of other teammates. Director says no other layoffs at this time are planned. But who knows

Digital One Implemations is impacted
It's started...multiples of people in D1 let go across the board....my manager is pi---d, being forced to cut good people. Contractors so far.
Hadn't checked my emails all morning, just now realized I have 10+ or so farewell emails from team members offshore. This was D1, many developers (Good Ones, Long standing ones) that have all said goodbye.
@aa this is fair but I am sure everyone will feel the impacts.

@a6 that was how it was for me in September. By the way do not be fooled if your meeting is just showing you and your boss. If HR is joining they are blind copied and show up as soon as they see you join the teams meeting. Why we can’t just give people a heads up so they are more mentally prepared is beyond me.
