Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Wells Fargo is so unsupportive

I swear, this is the shittiest, most unsupportive company I've ever worked for. I can't leave here fast enough. Can you imagine working on a team where your leaders think you are going to fu-k up and not get the job done. Can you imagine having a leader or people over you waiting for you to fu-k up, while not giving you the tools needed to be successful and perform your best. Leaders who can't say one encouraging fu----g word. This company has horrible culture and is just a terrible place to work. I'm in tears because I want to quit today, but I can't afford to. I've been interviewing and I hope I land elsewhere soon. This company is horrible.

I find my management to be f-ing up daily. They aren’t doing anything to secure any business or assist with production. The benefits aren’t super. The stock and our reputation is a joke. They change new process and updates that don’t work in theory or make sense. I spend a lot of time in pointless meetings. And I am compensated worse than last year.

I have been working her for years and per my reviews and metrics succeeding, and I still feel like I am disappointing my management daily. I think it is the culture. Don’t let it get to you and keep your options open.

You sounds like a teen age girl on a mood swing, you shouldn't even be working at a bank, you're a nut job.

@abu+1k4lpA2I spoken like a true WF manager! What a tool. Keep drinking the cool aid, did they tell you it would make your d**k bigger too? Keep up the good work and keep finding those minor mistakes that you can call process errors in their reviews. You'll get that big atta boy, hopefully with the heavy handshake that you so deserve

Your post reads like you already F’d up and they are simply waiting for it to happen again. What tools exactly do you need to succeed? You come off as needy and lacking self-starting skills. Or you are unable to use the tools you have to accomplish the task but need “your” tools instead which is not an option.

You observe processes, report gaps, make suggestions for improvement and move forward with the options you have. Or you act like a b!tch, take your ball and go home like you’ve decided to. I literally deal with terrible processes, hamstrung tools and ignorant employees every day here. You complain to your coworkers then move forward as a team. If you don’t have close people you can both commiserate and celebrate with at work then YOU are the problem.

My advise is to quietly quit the shitshow to improve your frame of mind. Worked wonders for me.

I’m sorry you’re in tears. Remember, it’s not you, it’s the place. It’s hard to take it in the conditions that exist here but put your energy into the plan out and just ignore the slings and arrows and do what you can with what you’ve got.

The place doesn’t deserve your tears, don’t forget that.
