Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Boycott the pulse survey, please.

The text in the email literally says "Even when no action is taken based on feedback", so, anyone who's making the argument that they are going to write their hearts out is just kidding themselves. If you want to vent, write a diary (for old people) or just say 67 for the youngins.

Here's what boycotting it does. It's not mandatory, so, does anyone have a good argument for losing your job if you don't participate? Not participating diminishes their little game where they collect sentiment data and make staffing decisions based on it. I am doing my part, please consider doing yours.

Have a great rest of your life.

@OP if you’re extremely unhappy find anew company. Overall they are far better than most companies. Totally upset over the RTO FT even interviewed and declined a job just last week because I’d still rather work at Fidelity.

@gf maybe they should be wondering why there are more “disgruntled” Employees than in past years. They don’t really care about improving the employee experience.

@ed They said the lowest rating, especially for all questions, is just a disgruntled employee and not worth considering. (Of course they don’t ignore the highest rating LOL.). They considered the second lowest rating as a more valid indication of areas for concern. Strange but true management/HR thinking or spin.

@dz - if we all give the lowest rating then how can they disregard that?

If you choose to participate, I agree with not including any comments.
Not sure about current state but they used to disregard the lowest rating when given. So if 1 is the lowest, give 2 instead.

The replies here by HR bootlickers posing as everyday associates is obvious and childish. Be honest on the survey, provide details and let them have it. Don’t fall for the phony HR shallow lies.

The pulse survey even has a SSO so they can’t even pretend it’s anonymous. There’s a blurb that says they will keep responses anonymous so legally they can’t take action on the survey responses.

One flaw in your plan is there are people like me. I work from home , love my job and feel well compensated and supported. If you boycott it will make my voice stand out stronger.

@ag - I would but I vest in less than a year... can't give them another reason to get rid of me beforehand lmao. I'll have to hold off my honesty till next year unfortunately.

This post HAS TO have been written by some lowly unimpressive HR hack!!

Do the Pulse Survey!!! Be honest!! Give verbatims!!! They’re literally asking for it.

HR and upper management doesn’t give fook about your well being. Realize that!

Nah - don't boycott it - decimate all the ratings! Every single question gets the lowest rating possible.

If you don't take the survey then the results will be skewed by the @sskissers giving good ratings because they are afraid of their own shadows.

Otherwise the negative ratings won't get counted and they will be bragging that we are the best employer in Cincinnati again.

If you don't want to spend time "writing your heart out" then you should write "What's the point anymore? Abby you ruined moral with 100% RTO." And just leave it at that.

I also decided I won't be participating in it. I think that speaks for itself.
